After forty years from the date of the first meeting, the new generation of 'Survivors' decides to compete with mutants and their bloodthirsty beasts once again. Of course, their purpose is to reflect the surface. Both factions, however, await a surprise, now the army of robots Series 9 is also entering the conflict. They go through the Earth like a storm, carry destruction and death, kill everything they encounter on their way. During 51 missions in single player mode we get to know new and more complex elements of strategy, which did not appear in the first part of the game. An example of this is the appearance of structures such as walls or bridges, which can be destroyed in order to prevent the attack of our opponent's troops.
New technologies are also available, e.g. Slowing down the opponent. There are also new landscape elements in the game: hills and cliffs that affect the field of view of our units - this gives KKND2 the opportunity to hide and carry out both sudden and unexpected surprise attacks. Another addition that we discover in 2 parts of this RTS are special units, including flying units, which increase the combat capabilities of our troops (the total number of units exceeds 50 for each race). The defensive functions of our base and the army under our control increase the emergence of radar, thanks to which our warning systems become even more effective.
The appearance of the third race - Series 9 robots makes the whole gameplay more varied. Now we will have to know the new advantages and disadvantages of each breed. Robots on the battlefield last much longer than survivors or mutants, but they cannot be repaired, which defactively compensates for the endurance of other races. In multi-player mode up to 8 players can play (also controlled by a computer). We will conduct our conflicts on 20 maps dedicated to this mode of play. It is only up to us who will control the surface and its natural resources. Please let us know if you have any comments or suggestions regarding this description.
