Turns out the information by this developer isn't truthful. It only works if you're on wifi or tethered. I picked this up for my CF-31 Toughbook because it has a built in GPS that allows me to use maps with it the problem I'm having is they don't allow generic gps connection to this app so I had to use my phone as a hotspot for the gps on my Toughbook.I want it to work but it don't I like the layout, colors and 3d look. And might serve a Tom Tom user well but not pc.I do not recommend this to anyone until they truly make it work with generic gps cards and antennas.

Submitted on 1/21/2017 Review title of Ala joke application Installed this on two laptops running fully patched W10. Sygic authors have NO FLIPPIN' IDEA how PCs function/operate. This has obviously been ported from an Android device to the PC world. If one can earn kudos for doing a lousy job of porting give the team a Blue Ribbon. App is super non-intuitive and lacks settings menus, ability to modify existing routes, etc.

The ONLY positive thing it did was to 'find' my USB GPS. We travel the country in a motorhome, use a laptop on the dashboard for navigation, need THE ENTIRE COUNTRY AS A SINGLE DOWNLOAD; what idiot thought loading one state map at a time is a good idea? A suggestion: require the developer team to learn Microsoft's Streets & Trips and to use it in a vehicle for at least a week. If they do that they are likely to gain an appreciation for what an intuitive, flexible and robust mapping application should be. Of course, if they exhibit the all-too-common NIH syndrome nothing will change.
